+ | * Barbara Gallatin Anderson holds the chair of University Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at Southern Methodist University and heads their M.A. and Ph.D. programs in medical anthropology. Author or co-author of six books, she is a specialist on the effects of culture change. Dr. Anderson has done research in Denmark, France, Morocco, Japan, China, and Russia, as well as south Texas and California.
