Roger Bailly, né le 27 juin 1920 à
Bièvres, fils de cheminot, fut nommé instituteur intérimaire à Boigneville en 1939 puis à Boutigny-sur-Essonne en 1940. Passé dans l'enseignement agricole en 1948, il fut nommé professeur chargé d'enseignement scientifique au collège Jacques Bourgoin de Corbeil-Essonnes où il enseigna jusqu'à sa retraite, de 1951 à 1977.
